Unique hotel with very cool antique furniture, which was a nice touch. Very interesting decor and lots of attention to detail as well. Our stay felt like being transported back in time!
Dinner here was a culinary experience. The chef and staff were excellent and the meal was superb. And breakfast was awesome! It’s important to note that the food is also locally sourced and homemade, and delicious too!

Nice hotel right at the end of the Stoos funicular. Staff were very friendly and the room was clean. Not a lot to the room but plenty of storage space and served us well for a 2 night stay. Plus the views with the balcony doors open were fantastic.
My only complaint is they charge for everything! 15 CHF per night just to have a coffee maker in the room, 5 CHF for a kettle, etc. But the shop across the way sells coffee for 3.50 and pastries so we opted for that most mornings.

We had a fantastic room on the third floor with a view of the beautiful lake. The staff were extremely pleasant especially checking in and out. The breakfast was very good and so fresh. Tea and coffee plentiful as with croissants and all other quality breakfast items. The beds are super comfortable and room spacious. Will definitely be coming again.

I liked the hotel itself and the location, however this was all self service property. When you get there, you have to use a machine to check in, there’s literally no human individual to welcome you in, not one soul. They didn’t offer clean service, at all. We stayed two nights, and though the hotel room was very nice and clean the breakfast sucked!! They only offer coffee, pastries, fruit, cheese and yogurt. I felt like blah… wouldn’t book here again. We were very pleased with our 2 night stay in Lucerne at the Cascada. The hotel is a convenient distance from the train station, an easy walk with luggage but far enough away that you can't hear trains. Reception was excellent and was able to get us into our room a couple hours before check-in time. They also were able to put us in a room towards the quiet back side of the building (little to no street noise.) Switzerland uses outlet plugs which are different from anywhere we've been in Europe....
Clean and roomy room. Excellent staff with positive attitudes! Good buffet breakfast. It was unseasonably warm when we stayed but they helped us out with a fan which was very much appreciated. For dinner: although fondue was out of season they let us order it with a couple hours notice. It was absolutely delicious!!
The staff were very pleasant and helpful; the facilities quaint, clean and aesthetically pleasing! The view is unmatched and the setting perfect for the size hotel and surrounding architecture.

Hotel Felmis turned out to be a very good choice for my wife and me. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the mountains from our room. We were driving, so we appreciated the very convenient parking. We took the bus from right in front of the hotel to downtown Lucerne, without having to hassle with parking in Lucerne. The area around the hotel is very nice.
The hotel is next to an old church and within the old town. The building is almost 500 years old and the style of hotel decorations and facilities, such as lamps and furniture, are in tune with the ambience. The room has a cute coffee maker.
The location was amazing. You will need budget for the cable car ride to the hotel. The only downside was the cable car stopped at 7:10 so you can't spend an evening in the town od Weggin. Other than a amazing stay.
The staff was great but Expedia may want to stop using the motel.
Every night except Saturday and Sunday (Easter weekend) it was very loud outside until 1 pm.
Loud music, loud talking and traffic noise came from outside the hotel, I do not know if it came from the restaurant or the bar across the street.
