We don’t normally do reviews but this place deserves one. Just a gem of a find. Great location, beautiful and comfortable (alpine but modern), and amazing food! (Both the complimentary breakfast and we had a delicious dinner.) and everyone was so helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
This hotel in Kandersteg is beautiful and very centrally located. Only about a 10 minute walk from the Kandersteg cable car station which takes you to the famous lake Oeschinensee. The staff is wonderful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing as well.

This is a lovely hotel near the cable car that goes up the mountain. You can ski right up to the front door of the hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly and eager to please. The breakfast was very extensive and well-supplied, with high quality food. I had a very enjoyable stay here, and would come again without hesitation. Had a wonderful stay in Spiez. The view from the hotel is absolutely gorgeous! I recommend getting a room with a view of the lake, you will not be disappointed. Our room was comfortable and spacious with nice updated bathrooms. My only complaint about the room was there were no shades of any kind to block out the light in the morning. We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Eden! It is a beautiful property, amazing views and the perfect couples retreat! We arrived a little early by train (we took the Golden Pass train from Montreux which was also a highlight) and so we enjoyed the spa and a private pool until our room was ready. This hotel is in the most beautiful setting right on Lake Thun. A gorgeous lawn leading down to the lake with recliners, tables and chairs, a bar, large chess board, and a place to go swimming. They also have a wonderful spa. The breakfast has so much variety to keep you going for the day. I especially loved the view from my room with a balcony overlooking the lake and mountains.
