Literally amazing from the moment we pulled in. The staff is incredible and the main highlight of our stay. We were there for a short time and wanted to pick up spices and snacks from this region before we left and the staff found us all the things we wanted and brought it to our room and made it easy for us to get the whole experience!

Amritara Beach Symphony is a little paradise. I loved my bungalow and enjoyed being close to the public beach where local families turn out to watch the sunset and fishermen haul in their catch in the morning. The pool is gorgeous, surrounded by lush greenery. The staff was attentive and helpful and arranged an amazing sunrise backwater boat tour. It felt like home-- would definitely stay again! Upgraded to a lovely, stylish room with a gorgeous view of the lake. I couldn't have been more comfortable. Staff was kind, friendly but not intrusive. Very comfortable as a female travelling alone.

Well maintained grounds, beautiful gardens and paths and the construction is fashioned as traditional Kerala home villas. This is a must stay property. Food was good and they have lots of activities for the families. The staff is pleasant but not uniformly friendly and not everyone is attentive as other places. I feel they could work on this piece. It seemed some were not happy working at the property and were just getting by. All that being said, I would return to this resort and wish I could...
Beautiful property in the middle of nature. The gardens and pool were very nice. The food was excellent and a family favorite of all our travels this trip, including Mumbai. Bangalore, and Chennai. Staff very helpful, we forgot my daughters earrings there and the night receptionist, Mr. Kuku, was kind enough to mail/post it to a relative in India. The food manager was also exceptional, very concerned about our food needs and even packed a breakfast meal because we had to checkout early...
This is my second time to Punnamada and I am anxious to go back for a third. The location is far enough from town to offer tranquility, but close enough for convenience. The Lakeside rooms are worth every extra rupee. The staff will jump over the moon to please you without making a big production. Each and every one is wonderful.
