Absolutely the most stunning hotel and location. Our king room overlooked a pristine sandy beach. Everything was just perfect, the staff, the decor, the comfort and the food. The breakfast included a Belizean specialty the fry Jack. A delicious puff of doughnut like bread served with or without sugar and cinnamon. We loved Villas at Playa de Coco! The room configuration was great whether your traveling as a couple, with multiple friends, or it would make for a fantastic retreat. The property finishes are high quality, staff was friendly and helpful, semi private pool was lovely and the beach was immaculate. We had the best time and cant wait to go back!!!

We got this place at last minute, arrive late and the owner host were waiting for us. Room very naive, individual tree houses. The place is beautiful, we could not enjoy it ,much because we were in Placencia for a weeding and we were pretty busy, left early and come back late, we did have breakfast and I can say it is very good and reasonable, their restaurant have a great sea view.

We needed a place to rest our heads in Placencia on either end of our trip to an outer Caye. Julias was perfect. Right on the beach, waling distance to lots of good eats. Even though our flight arrived 5 hours late Shelly was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. Her brother Ty was attentive to us as well. We appreciate your kindness!

Great stay! Perfect location, experience and staff! My room was connected - with locked door between - the room next door, and you could hear everything going on next door.

We have been coming to the Maya Hotel and Bistro for several years. It gets even better with time. The Lees are excellent in maintaining their standards of service and training staff. They improve their facilities and it is a truly welcoming place. Like a home you know you can always go to for the comfort and care. And the food....second to none! A most creative menu, infusing classic cuisines with just the perfect Caribbean/Belizean flavor. We will always return!!

It's a bit far away form Placencia village, but hotel provides free shuttle. A bit of a pain to wait for the driver to bet back, as they are not always on time. Rooms are clean and restaurant is great. One issue - we couldn't use the pictured pier with a gazebo and bar much (if ever) because there was a convention there and they kept other tourists off that pier, while kids from convention occupied the pier of breakfast, lunch, dinner and all activities.

This is a lovely beachfront property. My husband and I stayed in the Stingray cabana and it was perfect. Comfortable bed, large bathroom and it was nice having the option of leaving windows open so we could hear the crashing waves or turning on the AC if the humidity was high. The staff was fantastic. Our stay was wonderful. We are a mom & 3 daughters on a girls get away! Hotel has complimentary paddle boards, kayaks and bicycles. Wonderful swim up bar. Delicious food in the restaurant. Extremely helpful staff. Jason was exceptionally helpful. Also complementary shuttle in to town and to/from airport The hotel is quite remote. If you don't have a car you must rely on the shuttle which has set hours that may not match up with your plans

The location within Placencia Village is perfect. The resort is on a beautiful beach and our ocean front room had a great view. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The security guard made us feel very comfortable.

Where do I start? The moment we got to the resort we were welcomed by Heidi who brought us to our room. She was the most kind and helpful dront desk person there! The room was not an ocean front view as it was advertised as it was a pool view. It was a long walk to parking on the street that was not convenient. The room was great in that it had high end furniture, fixtures, etc.

Belize is back in business and we felt safe during our stay in Placencia! Everyone in town (whole families even riding bikes and in cars) wear their masks.
