"Everything about this place was amazing. This was our first time in Malta and we will definitely be coming back. The people that work at the hotel cannot look after you enough, they are brilliant! The amenities were amazing. Also, we had a special birthday and when we got back to the room, there was some bubbles and some cake to celebrate! Perfect holiday. One teeny niggle was people saving pool chairs at 7am and I think it would be beneficial if there was a 30 minute rule where they were cleared down if they’re not being used to allow other guests to use them. thank you so much for a wonderful stay!"
"Great experience with plenty to do in the hotel to relax & eat/drink without going too far. Lovely views of Golden Bay Sands beach plus some picturesque sunsets. Room was spacious & clean with the hotel staff being friendly & helpful"
"From check-in to check-out, we had a marvelously relaxing stay at the Dragonara. The staff are friendly and helpful. On-site amenities are plentiful and luxurious. We enjoyed the details and design elements of our room and the property as a whole."
"Hotel was great. Breakfast was amazing, highly recommend that. Staff was very helpful as well, offering suggestions for activities. This is a more quitet part of the island, so not really within walking distance of much, but the ubers & taxis were reasonably priced around 20 to 25 euro would get you in to Valetta."
"Stunning view on St George bay and sea. Access to swim in the bay striaght from the hotel. Good breakfast choice. It can be loud in the evenings. This area of St Julian has lots of entertainment like bars and clubs. In total we enjoyed our stay at the Verde."
"Lovely clean room and very spacious.
Check in was busy and staff did not explain anything about the hotel or the facilities.
Very busy around the pools but there are plenty of loungers - although I don’t think the hotel was at full capacity so unsure what it would be like if it was full.
Nice pool bar and great views out to sea, Comino and Gozo.
Great little shop. Really easy to book taxis and airport transfers from desk inside the hotel with very helpful staff member.
The Italian restaurant food was lovely but staff again did not explain when handing out menus what dishes were not available.
The lobby bar was good and staff there were great. All in all we would go back."
"On arrival as we were checking in we were brought a lovely cold local drink which was very refreshing. We were surprised to discover our Junior Suite was on an Executive floor, which meant we were able to use the Executive lounge while waiting for our room to be ready which was very pleasant as we were tired from our journey. Our room was beautiful with a sea view and a balcony from which we were able to watch the sun set each evening. The hotel staff were very attentive and our room was cleaned each morning and turned down each evening.
At Check-in we had mentioned it was our anniversary during our visit as are were asking about a nice restaurant to book, and had a lovely surprise when we returned to our room on the day to a folded towel display of swans/hearts, with a poem, chocolates and a bottle of prosecco on ice!
Breakfast was a buffet on the lower floor. There was an excellent choice of foods, including local treats, and you could order coffees, freshly squeezed juice and omelettes cooked to order.
The hotel is part of a group with 2 others and you could use the facilities of all. There were 3 outdoor swimming pools and an indoor one with a jacuzzi, however our favourite place to swim was in the sea at the Lido. There were plenty of lounge chairs and parasols for shade and staff from the poolside restaurants regularly passed by to take drinks/food orders. We particularly enjoyed the cocktails!
We are already planning on next trip!"
