This hotel was the best one that we stayed at during our trip. It is gorgeous. You look out over an olive grove/farm, and lemon trees line the perimeter of the pool. They produce olive oil and limoncello. (Don't miss these for sale on a shelf in a little bookcase in the front office.) Having been there, it is difficult to think of Le Carolee as a "hotel"; it's a beautifully restored, 18th century, fortified, country estate. Albergó Céntrale is a jewel in Lamezia. Great breakfast and dinners. Bruno, Lucca, Tania, Teresa, Stefania and our housekeepers all worked hard to ensure we had a pleasurable stay. Lamezia is not a tourist town, so there is not much English spoken. But Bruno and his staff did their best use their English skills and our poor Italian language skills to make our stay enjoyable. Aziz was a pleasure as was every other member of staff we encountered. The hotel is very nice. Clean. Quiet. Relaxing. If I ever visit again, I’ll be sure to book a reservation at the Michelin Star restaurant on the premises. Which nobody ever mentioned. That’s how classy everyone was. No pretense. No ego. Just a nice place staffed by genuine and good people.
Simple breakfast but quality is good. Staff are very friendly. Only draw back is very hard to get to the hotel by car. It is in the restricted town center area!

A good variety of sweet and savory food for breakfast. Not a huge buffet though. Dinner menu changes each day. The pasta and steak i had were delicious. Enjoyed the private path to the public beach.
The Hotel Class much better than expected. It was very modern and in good condition. The staff are very friendly and most speak a little English. The hotel is close to Lamezia Terme airport, but is pretty much in the middle of nowhere otherwise. There are no other buildings near by. We had free parking and free WiFi. Also the restaurant in the hotel was quite nice also. Great Hotel for a great Price!
