"Perfect location for a 1-night stopover in Kiel between the train and the ferry en route to Sweden from the Netherlands. The hotel is directly opposite the main train station and just 10 minutes' walk from the Stena Line terminal at Schwedenkai. Very friendly and helpful staff, a lovely big room and breakfast served until after noon (because it was a Sunday). Highly recommended all round."

"Wonderful stay at Holiday Inn-the niu in Kiel. Good size modern rooms with nice bathroom. Friendly service team who are most helpful in all queries. Excellent breakfast with good and healthy choices. |Good location directly at Kiel city centre for short walks to Altstadt, Main Station and Cruises. "

"Fantastic Servicemand room fantastic"

"Lovely hotel. Great parking, amazing staff. Rooms were well kept and clean."

"Ganske fint hotel. Vi var på gennemrejse på vej hjem til DK og havde brug for en overnatning, hvor vi kunne parkere lige ved hotellet. Det var der fuldstændig styr på, da vi ankom. Fin service og skøn morgenmad. Rent og pænt og hundevenligt. Skal jeg på shopping i Kiel, vil jeg vælge et hotel tættere på centrum, da vi altid har hund med, men man kan dog sagtens gå til centrum."

"Great stay! Clean and comfortable. Near restaurants. Good beds and airconditioning. Very friendly and professional staff. "

"Super dejligt værelse. Central beliggenhed midt på gågaden. "

"Hyggeligt hotel med god placering. Der er ingen elevator, så der Motion med i prisen."

"The staff and location are great! The hotel is walking distance to the restaurants and shopping… and the Hauptbahnhof. I only wish they would provide a coffee pot for the room. I enjoy my stay. "

"The Intercity Hotel is in an excellent location right by the train station. I was in Kiel to take a cruise and the cruise shuttle bus parked beside it and the old town was also in walking distance. The room was comfortable and the breakfast room was great with a very good selection and views of the harbour and the cruise ships. The front staff were exceptionally couteous, friendly and helpful with things like storing my suitcase for a few hours."

"Great service and all stuff members are rather helpful. "

"Very clean and well put together. One of the selling points is AC, which is not that common in Europe!"

"Very clean and well located for oslo ferry. Also excellent middle Eastern restaurant easy walk away."

"A decent place for a family to stay in Kiel."

"In the centre of Kiel . Close to all amenities. Great value for money ."

"Old hotel, not clean. Noisy. Only positive thing about the hotel was that it is close to downtown. Online checkin. Did not see any staff at any point during my 4 day stay. Kiel is a nice city with nice people, and interesting sightings."

"Room was very clean and confy, basic but functional. Close to mall snd bus so for business etc very well suited. Staff very helpfull and courteous. Confortable bed and desk for working. Basic breakfast no thrills but good enough. Would go again :) very good internet speed so for business it was perfect. Very quiet location and no noise from outside. Only issue is the noise from within the buidling/ rooms (no sound proofing at all) but as not too many in the building so was rather quiet."
