It was an excellent place to stay. The bed was warm and comfortable. All the amenities included an A/C, heater, safe, etc. Incredible South African hospitality. Great breakfast in the morning with incredible tasting Omelette made to your preference. The property is nice, with a beautiful garden. Did I mention the great hospitality? They are the best host of people. Cudos to the Owner, Chris, and the manager, Allison. My stay at Highgrove made the trip to South Africa more enjoyable.

Courteous front counter, good breakfast and clean room

You will be in a quiet relaxed neighborhood. The free shuttle service which drops you off and picks you up within a 5km radius makes life so easy as this includes Sandton mall. 300m from the hotel is a small shopping mall with lovely restaurants. You can take a stroll or if it’s too dark you can just take the free shuttle.The hotel is just so peaceful and you can have drinks nicely relaxed on the pool. Those who travel for medical reasons the Medi Clinic is close by. Depending on your condition...

I enjoyed my stay, I do not enjoy the restaurant attached to the hotel, fortunately there are plenty of other options nearby.

We loved our stay! The staff were so kind and accommodating. The site was safe and private. It gave for a real South African experience and atmosphere.

Our visit here was amazing the staff bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable the rooms were clean and the food was great. We were made to feel special by the staff here and if we visit South Africa again definitely be back here! Highly recommend

My sister and I traveled to Joberg to visit a friend who had stayed here on a visit and has since moved to this lovely location of the world. The security at this property is top notch. Every vehicle entering the gate is scanned and intent is verified. The reception at our arrival was so genuinely warm and professional. Busisiwe and Foreman made us feel welcome and special. Our room was especially clean and spacious. Paying the small fee for breakfast was a win! It was not your continental...

Beautiful property

It is right in Johannesburg OR Tambo airport. So convenient. Clean and very comfortable. Very good & helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Hard to find fault with this hotel

My husband and I stayed there for one night. I loved that it had lots of trees around it. The vrooms were spacous and the food was amazing. The sound proofing was also great. There was a wedding function on the premises but we were not disturbed at all. i would love to stay there again next time I am in Gauteng.

Nice clean hotel Friendly staff, good breakfast service

We needed a hotel quickly when we flew into Johannesburg because our plans fell through. We were able to book easily, check in easily and had a pleasant night’s sleep after a long journey from the states. The staff was gracious and accommodating. The buffet breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel!
