You will be in a quiet relaxed neighborhood. The free shuttle service which drops you off and picks you up within a 5km radius makes life so easy as this includes Sandton mall. 300m from the hotel is a small shopping mall with lovely restaurants. You can take a stroll or if it’s too dark you can just take the free shuttle.The hotel is just so peaceful and you can have drinks nicely relaxed on the pool. Those who travel for medical reasons the Medi Clinic is close by. Depending on your condition...
Every aspect of our stay was intentionally welcoming. From the welcome beverages to the bedside treat, we felt cared for every moment of our stay. The tour of the sanctuary allowed us to have an inside look into the life of Nelson Mandela. Each person at the sanctuary told us more about the beautiful history of his time there. We highly recommend a stay at the sanctuary to all who visit Johannesburg.

Perfection. Staff, spa, room, shower (one of the best showers in the world), bed, the setting, food! It does not get much better than the Saxon. Worth every penny.
We loved our stay! The staff were so kind and accommodating. The site was safe and private. It gave for a real South African experience and atmosphere.
Our visit here was amazing the staff bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable the rooms were clean and the food was great.

Lovely hotel in a nice neighborhood in Johannesburg. Staff was lovely and the roof top bar was the perfect place to unwind after a day of touring. Would definitely stay again!
