"After reading the reviews about the Norbreck we were a bit dubious about our stay, glad we decided to see for ourselves, everything was what we wanted, we tried to extend our booking but after the receptionist tried his best there was nothing available. On our return home we got booked in for the following week"

"Beautiful location and friendly helpful staff. However, there wasn't a walk-in shower (only over the bath) and no handrails. Also the room was very hot and we were advised not to open the windows after dark! "

" This a beautifully converted old schoolhouse, full of charm and crafted with genuine care. Meeting the owners revealed their passion for the place, with every detail thoughtfully considered and completed to a high standard. My room lacked natural light due to the original design and small window, but the interior lighting was more than adequate. While the immediate area has little character, it’s only a short drive to the heart of the Lakes and all its attractions. I’ll definitely return when exploring the South lakes."

"We had a very warm welcome on arrival. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. Very dog friendly and it was great we could eat with our dog in the bar. The family room was very clean and good size. Not a great view of the fire escape but it didn’t matter for one night. In a great location in the seafront and easy to park outside on the road for free. "

"Pleasantly surprised by the hotel, much larger than expected. Nice room, great friendly staff and excellent breakfast. We got a bargain but would definitely pay more to stay again. Free parking if you're lucky to grab a spot."
