Nice property. Great rooms. Beautiful view, if you get a beach/water view room. We had reserved a non-water view. Asked for upgrade at check in. Got the upgrade but had to pay more money, thought that was a perk with Expedia VIP, but wasn't. Nice bar area with good views and decent food. The upscale restaurant was good, but pricy. We decided to stay at the Inatel at the last moment when we arrived in Albufeira. We upgraded an oceanfront room with a balcony. The room was directly on the beach. It was lovely to sleep with the door open to the sound of the waves and to have a terrace with a view of the ocean. The room
is a little dated. But, it’s not tiny. And it’s close to everything and convenient to old town and the shops and restaurants. It was clean, had everything I needed, the AC worked and the breakfast was decent....
The hotel is gorgeous!! The beach is incredible and the staff is very nice and accomodating. My only complaint is we came for three nights and we were not able to get reservations for any restaurant for dinner. The restaurants seem amazing but are open to people outside the hotel. Perhaps this part needs to be improved and managed a bit more..
The front desk staff were the most friendly, gracious and helpful of all staff we have encountered in nearly six weeks of European travel. The hotel is in a quiet area of the very pleasant city of Loulé within easy walking distance of the historic old narrow street part of the town. In addition to typical breakfast food, included was a delightful selection of fresh fruit and an excellent espresso or café machine.
The hotel is amazing with a luxury style, the price is worth for what you get which is high standard if you compare with closest hotels. The breakfast is various and you have wide selection of warm and cold breakfast with fresh fruit every day. The staff is outstanding at the reception the ladies at the breakfast and the waiters at Serenata rest which serves fantastic fusion dishes always with a theme from the original Algarve cuisine.
Overall a very nice stay at a fun hotel. Really the only slightly negative thing I can say is the bathrooms are quite small. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.
Great hotel right on the beach. 2 mins walk to Marina ( lots of restaurants and shopping stores ). Joao in the front desk was very helpful although he was not clear when he mentioned ‘spa is free’. He should tell that jacuzzi and pool access are free, rest of the services are not free. Safe in room also needs extra pay, what was not mentioned during Chk in. This place was great. We went to Lagos first and it was too busy. So we found this hotel and enjoyed the city. Dining was close by as was the beach. Our room was comfortable too.
