Residential feeling. Beautiful dining room with big windows overlooking the gardens. Great food and service. £17 continental plus cooked breakfast all inclusive, great value. Cafe/Bar. Lounge with board games. Delightful staff. Comfortable king bed room and modern bathroom. Located at the foot of Haytor. Most enjoyable walk - don’t miss the quarry on the right of the tor - beautiful, hidden oasis.

There is a guest book at the Rock Inn which dates back to 1903 and it chronicles the experiences of the people who vacationed there. After reading through it one has to agree that it is a special place. We had a lovely stay at the Rock Inn. Our room was cosy with a comfy bed. We booked our meals in because the food is superb and the service friendly and attentive. We look forward to going back.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and spotless. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room, which was very spacious. The bed was quite comfortable and the rooms seemed to be sound-proof because it was so quiet and relaxing. Livermead beach is located across the street; the beach is beautiful, but the sand disappears at high tide, so be sure to plan your beach day around this. We also loved the stunning views from the rooftop terrace bar. We would love to return to Torquay and stay here...
