Room s are a little dated but comfortable and warm with great views. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Dog friendly and they do a great job of ensuring it's kept clean and dog odour free. Like all British seaside hotels could do with a lick of paint and some small maintenance but overall a nice place to stay."

"The room was lovely and the offer of a free drink in the bar in exchange for no housekeeping is clever. Such a good idea. Unfortunately the wedding in the hotel on Saturday night dominated all the communal areas of the hotel which meant that we couldn’t have the nightcap in the bar we were hoping for, as well as there being the thumping of the music from the wedding in our room until well after 11pm. Had we known yet the bar area would be pretty much out of action to other guests we might have chosen to stay elsewhere."
