Wonderful boutique hotel with fabulous attached restaurant. Barbara, the manager/owner was warm and gracious and gave us great recommendations for traveling around. Highly recommend!!
Beautifully maintained hotel. A few of the staff spoke some English and they were more than helpful. The hotel is in a good location as far as being in the center of the old part of town, but parking is very limited. Another downside is wifi. I could never get my phone to connect. But when you are in an ancient, beautiful city do you need wifi? I would highly recommend Hotel San Nicola to travelers.
Our stay was outstanding in every way. When we had a few minor problems the host was extremely responsive and addressed our needs immediately. Highly recommended and a fantastic location to the older part of Altamura.

perfetta! My daughter and I stayed here and we absolutely loved it! The room was very cute, the shower was great, and everything was so clean! I found the location to be perfect, not in the middle of the piazza (which is very lovely and fun at night) but very close. We walked everywhere. We were there during the heat wave and were so happy to come back to the room and enjoy the air conditioning and shower. Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay here. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Gravina for a couple of days. We were here for a wedding and staying here was really convenient for us to be close to all the activities. Only issue was that there was no WiFi.
