We had good information for exploring Montecatini Terme. We enjoyed the complimentary snacks when we arrived, and the breakfast. We came to see the historical baths and also enjoyed a soak in the public bath.
When I think of Italy, this is what I dreamed of. My family stayed here three nights. It is a hidden gem on top of a mountain overlooking the town below and a castle. It has amazing views. This is a fabulous property with unique things to do that you simply cannot find anywhere else!! The cave is a must. There are swimming pools and saunas and steam room. Plus a whole host of personal body treatments. Also the grounds have hiking trails. Close to very good small restaurants and great area historical sites. Treat yourself to this amazing place at least once.
What a surprise. Ignore the reviews. This is not a Marriott, nor should you be after one whilst staying in Italy. What this is is a delightful Italian hotel with incredible staff, Italian styled rooms and an incredible spa.

Very nice boutique hotel in the center of town. Room was very clean, bright and spacious enough for 2 people. Bathroom was very nice, great shower and water pressure. I liked the convenience of the hotel in that it is about a 10-minute walk to the Montecatini Terme station and just a few minutes to the central part of town where there are many shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable but I will say that it had the smallest shower I have ever seen in a hotel. Breakfast was nice and the front desk staff were very friendly.
