This hotel is in amazing area and perfect beach. Food at the restaurant was one of the best we tried in Sardinia. Next to the hotel are more beaches walking distance and with a small hike. My only complain was the bedroom, we had junior suite with ocean view which was amazing but the bed was bad and is cover with a plastic to protect the mattress which causes a lot of heat, also bathroom a little uncomfortable. Just for the price room could be a little bit better.

The hotel is a short and easy walk to a beautiful beach with pleasant shallow water. If attending events at the Anfiteatro, wear tennis shoes and have a flashlight or enough battery on your phone for the flashlight. It is a straight, flat walk although too close to cars with an uneven sandy surface. The hotel pool was sparkling and lovely!
We had a lovely stay with Matteo and Cristina in Alghero. Quiet, clean and friendly. Nice self-serving breakfast and tasty coffee! Lots of beaches nearby with car or bus!
Rooms are really clean…. Staff are really nice and helpful people pool is small cozy and quiet, parking is an issue but we got lucky found a place right in front after one round of looking but u need to feed the meter for sure

We arrived to the welcoming white arches and garden of an older hotel which had been modernized (with an infinity style swimming pool that includes a shaded area) and kept up, perched above a deep bay just north of magnificent Alghero. Absolutely loved staying here! So many things that are positive- the view from the balcony was stunning! We were blessed with a beach concert that was so much fun to watch from the balcony. The bed was the most comfortable of our entire stay in all of Italy! And talk about an amazing shower I can’t even even begin to describe it. There were two of us traveling together and decided to stay in one room, the only option online through Expedia was a single bed room so we booked that and hoped for the best. When we arrived to Bonsai (arrived two hours before check-in), we were welcomed by Christian, a hotel staff member and offered a breakfast free of charge. The room was new and very comfortable. We stayed on the 3rd level which had a large balcony. We practically lived outside. At night it was so quiet and pleasant. Parking is available on the street. When you arrive, call the number on the door and they show up within 10 minutes.
