"The Freehand is my go to place every time I'm in Chicago. It is a bohemian treasure and attracts interesting tourists, many from Europe. Good location, just by Eataly in the River North area, and I always have no trouble finding nearby parking on SpotHero. I've stayed here a few times now, and it feels like my 2nd home in Chicago. "The hotel was clean. We checked our bags when we arrived but then after a meal we ended up checking in early. We were able to get a room next to our parents. The kids loved the pool. We were not expecting such a big kitchen in our suite but if we stayed longer it would have used more. The breakfast was great."
