"Staff was very friendly and helpful, room had an amazing harbor view, and everything was clean and well tidy. Great location on the pier and we were able to walk downtown which was about a mile away."

"We able to checkin early for a small fee. Room was clean and good size. Shower was nice. Had shampoo conditioner and body wash. Sink was a little small for toiletries. Had a mini fridge and TV was fine. They stored our bags when leaving and concierge was very helpful. Very close to Millennial Park and had a great view for fireworks at Navy Pier. Close to the L if coming from Midway. A very nice stay"

"The Freehand is my go to place every time I'm in Chicago. It is a bohemian treasure and attracts interesting tourists, many from Europe. Good location, just by Eataly in the River North area, and I always have no trouble finding nearby parking on SpotHero. I've stayed here a few times now, and it feels like my 2nd home in Chicago. "The rooms were small but very clean and you could see that although the hotel is old, it's been kept up and improvements made. The bed was comfy and the towels were so soft!"
