Uig Hotel
8/10 Good
"It was only one night, so I could say less more."
Cuillin Hills Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Got in on short notice. Front desk very helpful. Bartender was excellent. The room and bed were excellent."
Tongadale Hotel
8/10 Good
"Good lively pub with great entertainment, can't complain about the noise because we enjoyed the first set of the live music."
Redwood House Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"What a gem. Although a bit far from Portree square (a 30 min drive) the escape was well worth it from the hustle and bustle. From the lovely scenery accompanied with sheep and sea gulls to the large, well-equipped rooms, it was a really nice backdrop to the lovely area. However, it was the staff that exceeded expectations. They were accommodating with our early departures, serving delic. breakfast and coffee, and eased our minds with help finding taxis, which can be quite difficult - thank you, Thomas! The kindness that was shown throughout left us feeling we were among friends. I look forward to going back!"
Bracken Hide Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Unique set up with individual cabins positioned on hillside with wonderful views. Food excellent along with top quality service and a special call out to Paulina. Only downside is lack of onsite transportation for customers to and from cabins Given potential weather challenges and customers with health conditions hiking up and down hillside pathways could be a challenge"
Dunvegan Camping Pods
10/10 Excellent
"Very quaint and cozy. Came with everything we needed. Great location. Very clean."
Sligachan Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Clean rooms and beautiful views"
Skeabost House Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great staff from check-in to the in-house bar to housekeeping. All were very professional and helpful. Breakfast was standard British breakfast. Bar and restaurant were very good. Which is nice since the hotel is a ways from other places."
Minnies Rooms
10/10 Excellent
"There was nothing we didn't like about Minnie's Rooms. We reached Dunvegan after a whirlwind tour of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Oban and we were ready for a rest. This place is so peaceful and Mayanne so completely gracious and accommodating. We had a lovely, cozy room overlooking Loch Dunvegan and a herd of grazing sheep and a magnificent view of MacLeod's Tables. Mayanne provided room service continental breakfast every morning which we ate at our table overlooking the loch and there were extra items in the communal hall which also contained a microwave. The village of Dunvegan is quaint, quiet and walkable with the oldest bakery in Skye close by. My only complaint about our stay is that we didn't stay longer!"
