The Rif at Mangrove Beach Corendon Curacao All-Inclusive, Curio by Hilton
8/10 Good
"Very Hot in May . Food was great.
Drinks were great.
The Bathroom was small, not enough sink space and the shower the water runs out to the bathroom floor.
Walk with your own water bottle.
You have to get your own water and the vendor machine."

"Everything was good in my experience. We didn’t like how self served it is for what we paid. Having to find your own table at the buffet and getting your own drinks was new to us. Also many times we needed to get our own cutlery, which isnt a big deal but for a 7k trip seemed like the service didnt match the price. The staff was friendly and helpful, grounds were maintained well. The beach was Great, our kids loved the dock to jump off. It was a great trip but not worth the price.
Food was okay- we were a little shocked that we were told we couldn’t order multiple things from the menu at an all inclusive (example. We wanted a pizza to share as a family as an appetizer but they said no. Pizza is only one per person as a main) this was throughout all the restaurants which was super weird to us as we’ve never experienced that strictness at an all inclusive. The food quality was okay- everything at the restaurants could be found at the buffet except the bbq. The bbq was good but everything was dressed in bbq sauce which wasnt very good and again very strict on menu (we were a family of 4 and given a small bowl of salad to share) when we asked for another bowl they very reluctantly gave us one and made a point to say it was supposed to be one.
Overall it was a good trip but for the price we wouldn’t return."
"The room was clean and what I anticipated. I will revisit this particular hotel if I visit Curacao again.
The views outside the window was limited.. Nothing to talk about.
Staff was helpful and friendly.
The pool was smaller than expected.
The location of the hotel is ideal for walking through the streets and great eating places."
"Took my daughter here for a graduation trip. Avila is the oldest hotel on the island, it has history behind it. It was a nice hotel. Very laid back, relaxing environment. The onsite restaurants are just ok. Servers move extremely slow. Although, I found all the food in Curacao to be lackluster. Front desk staff were excellent, very helpful with whatever we needed. Did not rent a car. The taxi app helped us get around. I found that from Avila, the taxis to every place we visited was $20 each way. We did multiple excursions with pickup service, so a car for us wasn't something I wanted to deal with.
If you're looking for lots of restaurant options, beach clubs, and a lively environment, I would suggest looking at staying at Mambo Beach. We spent most evenings there."
"This is a nice small hotel. Very comfortable. Beautiful location on the coast. Our one complaint is that it is listed as on the beach. It would be accurate to say "on the sea", but not "on the beach". It is on a rock outcropping which cannot be safely navigated to the water. There is no sand at all. Other than that, we would heartily recommend."
