"The hotel is old, but it's been well kept. The room was fine, though the lighting left something to be desired and the bathroom and tub were quite dated. HOWEVER. The gym and the pool are outrageous. A smith machine? 80 lb dumbbells? ~10 weight machines + ~15 cardio machines (including two peloton machines)? A dual-pulley cable machine? A freaking squat rack!? Very, very, very cool. I really enjoyed me stay here because of that."

"Lovely large room. The window view was phenomenal especially at night. Staff was courteous. Especially appreciated to complimentary shuttle to the train station. The hotel was across the road from the “One of a Kind Christmas Craft Show”. Appreciated the close proximity as visiting the craft show was our primary reason for visiting Toronto. "

"The front desk staff provided exceptional service. Everyone was genuinely friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious and clean. The street noise was a little loud as a concert finished up nearby but it did not disrupt us. The location is perfect!"

"Lots of nice places to eat close by, including the one in the hotel itself. We took in the CN Tower, aquarium, 2 hockey gsmes and the hockey hall of fame and everything was walking distance which was super nice. Rooms were very nice and clean and staff was awesome too. Highly recommended "

"1 Hotel Toronto is a beautiful, calming escape in the middle of the city. The nature‑inspired design, spotless rooms, and incredibly comfortable beds made the stay feel luxurious and relaxing. Staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food at 1 Kitchen was fresh and delicious, and Harriet’s Rooftop offered great cocktails with stunning views. The location is perfect for exploring King West on foot. A fantastic stay from start to finish—highly recommend."

"We had a lovely stay at this beautiful property. The location is perfect if your going to Toronto to watch a ball game or sight see. It’s beside the Roger’s Centre and the Aquarim. A short walk to St Lawrence Market and the waterfront. Very close to the TIFF theatres. Staff were attentive and helpful. The restauarant served a very good buffet breakfast. The pool and spa were spacious and immaculate. This hotel is top notch. I will never stay anywhere else when I return to Toronto....

"We had a great stay for 3 nights. Princess Wales Theatre is just minutes away, where we enjoyed the Neil Diamond Musical “A Beautiful Noise”, then a Blue Jays game the next day, less than 15 minutes walk away. The breakfast buffets are excellent. Our first time there, I hope we can do it again sometime."

"Right next to the CN tower and Roger Center. It’s a 40 minute train ride to Roger’s Stadium. Great location, view, restaurant, room, everything. And the staff are extremely nice and helpful."
