This place was a great surprise. The room was very clean and very comfortable. It was very nice that the linens and towels were not the typical stark white that you see in most hotels. The linens were very soft and had all the touches of home. The towels were color coordinated to match the rest of the room. Thank goodness they used a real blanket instead of the thin piece of cloth that most hotels try to pass off as a comforter. As for the staff. I can't say enough good things. They were the...
I wish it would be less religious. There are three huge crosses at the middle of the lake, that they manage to light up at night. So it is in your face every time you take a walk around the lake or look from the balcony. It is a major turn off for non religious person or non christian.
Brand new hotel. Excellent customer service. Very comfortable beds. Marriott employee, Emily Cook, went above and beyond for us. We will definitely stay here again and have already recommended the hotel to our family and friends.
After staying in many different hotels and inns, The Village Inn tops them all. Perfect location, cozy room, friendly staff, and perfect bed. I honestly do not have a single negative to say about the stay. I even had to ask where they purchased their pillows. If you're staying in Blowing Rock or even Boone, consider this place!!!
We chose this hotel because it is pet friendly. We were in town for the Winterfest and the location was perfect. We were able to walk to the shops and restaurants which is great because parking in Blowing Rock can be a challenge. Our room was clean and nicely decorated and a very comfortable bed. Would stay there again and looking forward to our trip.
This is a friendly, family owned hotel situated atop a steep hill overlooking a lake. The view is better than most of the other hotels in the area. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. For its price level, it was a great value and the free breakfast was decent. The hotel manager was friendly and helpful to us finding the local attractions. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't need to stay right at a resort.
WOW! What an awesome place. Brand new and spotless. High ceilings, Large corridors, fully furnished room with every amenity you could need. The king size bed was comfortable with nice sheets. Room had a fireplace, makeup/desk, kitchen sink, coffee maker, air fryer, clothes steamer, and all the coffee/tea you could make. They even have snacks in the hallway that you could enjoy. The bathroom was incredible with a double sink, separate toilet room, and a huge shower room that had a soaking tub and...
My husband and I really enjoyed. It almost pictures a bed in breakfast. Very Very clean! The room was nice and we loved the breakfast delivered to our door. They also gave us complimentary wine glasses to take home. We loved it. Could in the future invest in a microwave in the room.
Wonderful weekend at the Victorian Inn! Perfect location to walk all over Blowing Rock. Loved the room, deep soaking tub and staff. I cannot wait to go back!
