Evening clerk asked if we were in town for the festival, we weren't, just traveling through. He told us of the Smoky Hill River Festival taking place Friday through Sunday. We went the next morning, it was GREAT!

Beautiful art work diwntown and a busy downtown area. Dont miss a drive at least down main steet and take in the murals and statues.

Friendly people, excellent doughnut shop downtown. Not too big not too small. Sports clips on the south side of town was probably the best hair cut iv gotten from a chain business for cutting hair and the girl that gave me my haircut was pretty cool.

Salina is a great city to mill around! Friendly people and you can find things to do and good places to eat. Just don't stay at the Baymont!
