This house has character, making it feel more like a home than a hotel. The staff was great and very helpful.
The only negative thing was that I think the house is undergoing renovations, so it either feels like a construction zone, or like it was once a great hotel that is now crumbling. But I didn't mind that and enjoyed my stay.
Fantastic place to get away and relax in nature! Super beautiful location, lots of options for activities from hiking to canoeing to pedal boats to the pool/sauna. We appreciated the friendly staff and the room was very comfy!
I should've planned ahead and booked spa services in advance, because the massages were already fully booked when we arrived but that's definitely on me.
Restaurant serves great food, vegetarians may want to bring some extra provisions since options are available but...
The cabin was very charming, quiet and comfortable. Appreciated the full kitchenette and AC. As far as I could tell there was no television but that was ok. Was good to know that the hotel and restaurant closed at 5 PM and very few restaurants in the area were open on Monday and Tuesdays. Maybe and early season thing?? The bed was comfortable.
The room was well appointed and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the area very quiet which contributed to a good sleep. The breakfast was basic and adequate and the total price was very reasonable. As a one night, passing through stop it was great.
I really enjoy this stop. It's perfect if you're traveling between Montreal and QC. Perhaps taking some time for Trois Rivieres. It's the third time I've stayed here. Comfortable bed. Plenty of basic amenities. Great restaurant and services around the traffic circle.
