I rented Spring Hill Inn while visiting UConn with my daughter. It’s less than 5 minutes away and the stay was fantastic. Lee welcomed us and greeted us warmly. He was happy to to share about the history of the home built in the 1700s. Lots of character but at the same time very well appointed and comfortable with renovated bathroom and very comfortable beds. There was delicious tea, yogurt and freshly cut fruit in the morning with a yummy coffee cake home baked by Diane. We felt spoiled and...

what a GREAT find, we absolutely loved our stay here and would like to spend 3-4 days next time. We came in town for the Brimfield Antique and Flea Market Show and found this property. It was amazing - pool, hot tub, health club, Gym, Hand Ball / Racquetball, it really offers so much. Pool tables in the lounge area. The property is rich with history and it is beautiful.
Someone's dog pooped either in a room or in the hallway. Stunk something terrible. Two employees were watching me spray the hall with a disinfectant. While I was spraying they were laughing at a situation that I did not consider funny. That order got into my clothing. Have to wash or dry clean everything that I took on that trip.
Bathroom needs more lighting and shelves in the shower. Also needs a full length mirror in the room. Better options for bringing luggage in without the mile long walk from the garage.
You were a little worried about coming to this property because of other reviews but I have to say that we had an amazing time at this hotel. Our room walked right out to the pool. The hotel is across the street from junkanoo beach. It’s about two minutes away from the fish fry. The room was very nice. There were some things that didn’t work properly but nothing we couldn’t get over. The staff was really helpful and amazing there. I would stay here again, especially at a really good price.
Clean well maintained hotel. Staff was polite and helpful. Free shuttle to and from the airport. The only complaint was the shower door, although rooms looked remodeled the door seal strip needs to be replaced. It had signs of mold and didn't keep water from leaking. Other than that everthing was great!
We stayed at the hotel because of a concert, but our stay was so nice that my fiancé wants to go back for no reason at all except to stay at the hotel. The property and rooms were super clean, breakfast provided many options and was delish, and we felt safe even on the first floor. It was also extremely convenient to the Mohegan Sun Arena without the price tag of having to stay at the Mohegan Sun Resort. It was the perfect choice!
Staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast dinner right next door with excellent food. Close to Old Sturbridge Village and easy to get to. Also close to Teddy G's Restaurant that serves good food and drinks. Would highly recommend staying here for a weekend at Sturbridge.
