From the time we arrived and were greeted by Katy to the time we left three days later we were treated royally. The B&B is so charming and the grounds are park-like. We stayed in the Sun Room and although small inside, the private deck is amazing! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The breakfasts served on our deck were delicious and served graciously. The location is so convenient for walking around downtown but we enjoyed the atmosphere at the Simpson House so much that we hung out...

We booked a two night stay so there was a gratis breakfast basket waiting for us in our room--the homemade banana bread is just like mom used to make! The kitchenette is fully appointed with utensils, dishes, even a corkscrew. We found a full-sized coffee maker with tons of coffee and fixins, including flavored creamers. It was a wonderful first stay for my wife and I in Solvang and the folks at Wine Valley Inn made our stay very enjoyable. From check in to check out they were friendly and helpful. Their hot breakfast was enjoyable and so were the pastries from Olsens bakery. We will be returning here.
My husband and I loved this hotel. It is in a great location, right on the main street in Solvang. The room was really modern and spacious and the bed was super comfortable. We ate at the restaurant for dinner, which had really nice food and wine. Also, the complimentary continental breakfast is delicious. I would definitely stay here again!
