From the time we arrived and were greeted by Katy to the time we left three days later we were treated royally. The B&B is so charming and the grounds are park-like. We stayed in the Sun Room and although small inside, the private deck is amazing! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The breakfasts served on our deck were delicious and served graciously. The location is so convenient for walking around downtown but we enjoyed the atmosphere at the Simpson House so much that we hung out...

Very happy with the room, the house very cozy. Staff friendly. Clean. The breakfast was delicious! I would stay there anytime, I just wouldn’t stay on the second floor. I recommend the host tells the guest staying on the third floor to be more considerate when is bed time with the people in the rooms on the second floor. You can hear everything! Guests staying above were very loud, moving around till late into the night. Other than like I said, loved the place!
Although, I am more of a dog lover than a cat fan. The Cheshire Cat Inn left me purring. We were looking for a quiet romantic lodging near the Santa Barbara Bowl and we found just that.

So many great things! The location was ideal and walkable to waterside and town sights, the rooms were clean with very quick attention to any minor problems, the staff was superlative (especially concierge Flore), and the free parking and free breakfast, with eggs, sausage, cheesy potatos, danishes, fruit, cereal, etc., were just bonuses!
Somehow, they make this motel a 5 star experience. Accommodations are excellent. And staff is helpful. There are so many touches that take this hotel to the next level. I couldn’t recommend it more!!
