Venture back in time on the Georgetown Loop Railroad, chugging through Rocky Mountain splendor on a narrow-gauge marvel of Victorian engineering. The Hotel de Paris Museum reveals the elegant side of mining-era life, while Hamill House showcases how silver barons lived in surprising luxury. Try your hand at gold panning at the Lebanon Silver Mine, where guides share tales of boom-and-bust fortunes. The Victorian downtown feels like a film set come to life, with red brick buildings housing antique shops and cafes serving hearty mountain fare. Drive up to Guanella Pass for alpine meadows bursting with wildflowers in summer and golden aspen groves in fall. Georgetown Lake offers trout fishing against a backdrop that seems almost too picturesque to be real.
"This was a great place to stay at for our trip to Breckenridge. Located right next to main street there was a tunnel connected from the lodge to the town that made travel back and forth easy. As well as a free complimentary shuttle service opened from 9am-10pm that would take you where you needed to go as long as it was within their radius. Which mostly everything in town was!
The actual lodge itself was very cozy, clean, and spacious. We stayed in the 1bed 1 bath and had so much room. Our couch was also a pull out which made evenings in the living room even cozier to lay down. The kitchen had everything you would pretty much need appliance wise for cooking which was so helpful. The view from our balcony was so beautiful too overlooking the mountains and snow. This was a great place to stay and if we ever come back to Breckenridge we will definitely be staying here.
The staff was so friendly and all of our shuttle drivers were kind and offered recommendations on things to do and places to try.
The lodge had a coffee and tea bar downstairs that was complimentary and offered other things such as hot chocolate and sugars.
I recommend this place to any and everyone visiting Breckenridge. Truly so cozy and inviting. Going to miss this place! "
"Had an amazing stay—ski in/out. Easily walkable. Lots of food options. Great game rooms for the kids. 3 hot tubs. Newly renovated condo. Great service. "
