Granite boulders rise like natural sculptures at Watson Lake, where kayakers glide across waters that mirror the impossibly blue Arizona sky. The historic downtown's Whiskey Row has transformed from frontier saloons to art galleries and craft breweries without losing its Wild West soul. Courthouse Plaza hosts events beneath towering elms, while nearby Sharlot Hall Museum preserves territorial history in pioneer-built log cabins. The world's oldest rodeo still bucks and thrills every summer, drawing crowds to witness traditions unchanged for generations. Hiking trails through Prescott National Forest offer pine-scented escapes from summer heat. For cultural explorers, the Phippen Museum celebrates Western art with collections that capture the spirit of the frontier in every brushstroke.

Prescott Resort and Conference Center
"The restaurant food was good, both breakfast and dinner, however dinner staff was understaffed, resulting in waiting for service and undue stress for the only server. We had reservations for 6:00pm. Only one waiter? Really, on Friday night! In the rooms, no ADA availability not even grab bars in the bathrooms, so that was a concern due to disability. Nice indoor pool, however again, no safety rails at steps to hydro spa, cold water temp. On the brighter side, the facility is very nice, the staff all excelled in carrying out their respective obligations. Have stayed there many time in the past and despite some of the inconveniences, we will stay again in the future. The coffee shop and especially the nail salon staff were excellent as well."
Holiday Inn Express Prescott by IHG
"Breakfast was yummy, the internet worked well, and the hotel and rooms were neat and clean. They even had fresh flowers in the lobby. The staff was amazing and so helpful."

"Great stay"
Hampton Inn Prescott
"We really enjoyed our stay! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. The pool was definitely a favorite!! our daughter loved it so much! Parking was easy, breakfast was decent, and the staff was very friendly. Special thanks to Tania from the kitchen and Kelly at the front desk for making our stay even better. We also loved the location. It was quiet and peaceful, close to Lynx Lake for a short family hike, and just a short drive to downtown. Overall, a great and convenient place for a relaxing family getaway!"
Hotel St. Michael, BW Premier Collection
"The St Michael saved my night with a last minute reservation after another hotel let me down. The St Michael is clean and well maintained with wonderful staff. They cheered me up and I slept soundly."

"All good"
Forest Villas Hotel - Prescott
"If you have any form of allergies, call well in advance and ask for no room spray - this might help? I got feather free pillows but in exchange an overpowering lavender room spray that even bothered my non-allergic friend. That said, the pool and room were nice otherwise. And the breakfast did have hot foods and gluten free options."
Hilton Garden Inn Prescott Downtown
"Nice, modern hotel right next to Whiskey Row. Clean, modern rooms with helpful staff. Nice restaurant downstairs. Breakfast on the outside patio was very enjoyable. Recommend a corner room with a balcony. Will return."
