Granite boulders rise like natural sculptures at Watson Lake, where kayakers glide across waters that mirror the impossibly blue Arizona sky. The historic downtown's Whiskey Row has transformed from frontier saloons to art galleries and craft breweries without losing its Wild West soul. Courthouse Plaza hosts events beneath towering elms, while nearby Sharlot Hall Museum preserves territorial history in pioneer-built log cabins. The world's oldest rodeo still bucks and thrills every summer, drawing crowds to witness traditions unchanged for generations. Hiking trails through Prescott National Forest offer pine-scented escapes from summer heat. For cultural explorers, the Phippen Museum celebrates Western art with collections that capture the spirit of the frontier in every brushstroke.

Hilton Garden Inn Prescott Downtown
"We absolutely love this prophet. I would recommend anyone that goes to Prescott to stay there. The only problem I had is I had to check out a day early because I got altitude sickness so I didn’t get to enjoy my full two days. Little sad about it but amazing property amazing staff Sean is always so nice and kind to us and Denise and Tad, and the restaurant bartender Sweetheart Food amazing good night and have asked for a better hotel"

"Clean room, pleasant staff. Clean building."
Sierra Inn
"We had a corner room which was spacious and clean, comfy beds, small but very clean bathroom. The shower was very nice with a shower wand. Every shower should have a wand -- so much nicer!"
Hotel Vendome
"Everything was great. Our only complaint was that we could hear the loud, adult activities coming through the paper thin walls late at night."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Conference Center Prescott
"Room was hot and stuffy. AC would turn on but it never really cooled down. Pool was soooo crowded with young kids playing football. Other guests and babies kept getting with with the ball. No parent supervision. Breakfast was just ok. Nothing really great, just so so muffins and eggs."
SpringHill Suites By Marriott Prescott
"Nice hotel! Very friendly front desk staff and managers. My family really enjoyed the stay here. It is a GREAT location if you want to be very close to the beautiful historic downtown, about 1-2 blocks away. Nature + Prescott College are also very close. You can't beat the location. Rooms sizes are good, beds are comfortable and clean. A couple of minor details: there were some small stains along the bathroom sink area. I saw toothpaste / saliva stains along the wall. A wipe down would be good. Also, we had a nice view of the mountains. But the window was smudged quite a bit on the inside. Looks like someone ran out of time, quickly wiped it for 5 seconds. The breakfast was good, but there was no meat on a Friday. They did have it on Saturday. Not sure if it is random or only provided on weekends. Finally, parking should be included. Who doesn't drive to the hotel? It would be a nice touch to include it. But I realize "they (hotels) all do it". Nonetheless, we would use this hotel again. And I gave perfect marks for everything. I'm just nitpicking 🙂"
