We had a car so it was easy to drive to trailhead and restaurants. A very tasteful decorated hotel. The room was nice and spacious. Good breakfast choices. It's definitely worth the money.
Aguila Mora Aparts is a hidden gem in El Chalten. Superb service courtesy of Barbara, and when she was away, her two children. Clean, comfy, spacious apartments with well-equipped kitchens. It’s off the main road, but not far, which makes for a quieter and less touristy-feeling stay in El Chalten than most other options. If I come back to El Chalten this is absolutely where I’d stay. One feature that makes it unique compared to many other places in El Chalten are the windows —they’re huge, bay...
Alejandra’s place is amazing. She makes a wonderful breakfast and is attentive to any question or need you have. The rooms are simple, but safe, clean and comfortable. The place is not quite on the main strip, but about a 10 minute walk from the bus station and the main shops and restaurants/bars. She’s a lively woman that will do anything for you. Highly recommended. Laundry service also offered. 5 min walk to Laguna Torres trailhead.
Stayed in a third floor room with view of the mountains (Fitz Roy, Poincenot, St Exupery, Cerro Torre, etc). Staff very helpful and friendly. Bar drinks and snacks were excellent and dinner there was fine. Buffet breakfast was included and very good.
Very cute place! Room was cozy and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean and the shower was great. Convenient location. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Our only complaint was that the walls are a little thin, but nothing a little white noise wasn't able to help with. Highly recommend!
This lodge embodies the el Chalten vibe - unpretentious, friendly, easy to work with and helpful. Santiago and his staff had spot on suggestions on everything from the best hiking routes, weather forecasts and places for dinner and drinks.
