Got lots of information on where to travel around the area. Very helpful with questions (where to park, how to get to places etc.) I booked this hotel bc of the breakfast and it did NOT DISSAPOINT! So many local dishes and eggs, and then breakfast dessert with a choice of 4-5 cakes everyday! We had an awesome stay at the hotel. The atmosphere was cozy and stylish, and everything was just right. The restaurant really stood out, especially with its amazing food and wine selection—there’s something for everyone, and the choices are seriously impressive. The staff made the experience even better; they were super friendly, helpful, and always on top of things. If you’re after great hospitality and a fantastic meal, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Villa Porto All'Arco is an old villa that's been converted to a small hotel. Don't come if you're looking for modern amenities. This is more of a trip back in time. You get tall ceilings and original floors from hundreds of years ago. The owners are incredibly nice and helpful. And they serve a great breakfast. Two minor demerits. First, the address didn't show up on our GPS so it was a little difficult to find. Second, it's a five minute walk from the hotel to the main piazza of Volterra. So...

We stayed at Boccioleto Resort & Spa for five nights with our two kids and absolutely loved it. The hotel is stunning, surrounded by greenery, with spacious rooms and a pool overlooking breathtaking views. The staff is impeccable—always warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making every guest feel special. You can really sense the team’s effort to create an unforgettable experience. Breakfast was delicious, and if we had more time, we would have gladly extended our stay.

A beautiful, relaxing property with incredibly kind and professional staff. Villa Lena has a character of its own that feels truly personal. We loved the design of the rooms and the touches of art throughout. The food was delicious and you could tell care was taken with its making. And again all of the staff was incredibly friendly and it was easy to get help when needed. We traveled here with two children and greatly appreciated all the support from the staff. Highly recommend Villa Lena.
