This is the perfect place to have an ocean view room that is beautifully done. The hotel doesn’t offer a ton of amenities, but it’s in a great location on a beautiful beach. Come here to enjoy time with a partner, have access to beach restaurants and activities and rent a car to explore the island. Our concierge, Junior, was amazing and saved us by getting our passports to us after we had already arrived to the airport!

Horrible parking

The property is well maintained. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The only restaurant/bar at the facility is opened for all 3 meals at a specific time but the bar is always open. You can get a good dinner for a rational price. Breakfast was pretty good not included.

I highly recommend Mullet Bay Suites for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and comfort. My only issue was with the parking. There is only room for 3 small cars to park. Once we were unable to leave the premises because non-guests were parked in front of our car with no way to contact them.

My husband and I just came back from this resort. We spent 6 days and I will share my honest experience during the time there. Upon arrival, we were taken to the Adults Only (AO) which is what I booked since that's my preference. There is a Family Resort (FR) in the front of the AO resort. Beautiful resort excellent food and drinks clean friendly

The staff and management was fantastic. We enjoyed ourselves with the bar and spa. There is some work still being done to to repair some of the property but I don't know many places that aren't doing that. The concierge was great helping us get excursions booked and getting us a driver! We would come back!

We spent 4 nights at La Hibiscus. Really enjoyed everything about it. Florian gave us a free upgrade to the Jasmine suite. Large, comfortable bed, great shower and bathroom. Great terrace for sunning and looking at the mountains. We had the pool to ourselves which we loved. Very hands off approach by management which meant great privacy which we like. Third stay in St Maarten/Martin since 1993. By far the nicest hotel of my 3 stays. While not directly on a beach, a short drive to Orient, or across the street to Dawn Beach at the Westin. We took a trip as a family to celebrate three college graduations and an engagement. Due to the dates we could each go, we ended up needing to book it as three separate studios all on the lower level. The hotel is in a very nice location, 10 steps and you are on the beach! The hotel is cooperating with a nice little bar , good drinks and nice service, right outside called The Pink Flamingo, ask for Stephan.... so you can get free deck chairs and sun umbrella, fantastic! Too many details to mention from the private jacuzzi to concierge services provided by Pauline. Beautiful interiors, comfortable beds. My wife and I stayed at the Hotel L'Esplanade for a week! And it was out first time here on the French side and we enjoyed it a lot. We stayed for 5 nights and loved the hotel but what made the stay so special was the quality of the service from Marion Idalia and the entire staff They were amazing so helpful and knowledgeable about the island.
