What a fantastic stay we had. This property has all new decor, and is exceptionally inviting, especially the lovely terrace out back. They offer breakfast for 18 Euros, which is brought to you on the terrace whenever you’re ready. You can pick as much to eat as you like, so be sure to order according to your appetite! The bed was very comfy and the linens high quality. The staff were also very accommodating, providing recommendations for dining and activities, and were willing to hold our bags...
The hotel was a perfect first stop for our trip.the bed was comfortable and the room was a great size.we ate at the restaurant and really enjoyed the experience. I tried the spa twice hoping the steam room or sauna would be working but both times the staff couldn’t figure it out. The indoor pool was lovely. Location is very walkable and the bakery down the street was the perfect morning stop.
Probably the best place we’ve ever stayed! It feels like something out of a fairytale. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The staff is always extremely friendly and ready to assist with anything you may need. If this resort had a full service restaurant it would be the greatest place EVER! Even without it they do have a really good breakfast and some great snack options like cheeses and bread. The pool is lovely and the ambience is just out of this world!
Villas Foch is a boutique hotel located a few blocks from all the action in Bordeaux.
The hotel itself is very clean and very smartly appointed. The rooms have been furnished with comfort in mind. We booked a “cozy” room because we didn’t plan to spend much time in the hotel. We normally book larger rooms. But the room was great and very comfortable.
BUT the best part about Villas Foch is the VERY young staff. I have no idea where the Owners found these young people but they definitely aimed...
The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. The hotel was situated perfectly for me to walk to my river cruise ship nearby. I didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel, so I cannot comment about that. The tram to the center of town is very close to the hotel.
Everything was wonderful at this hotel. It started with amazing and friendly stafff at check-in, during the stay and checking out. We had to leave super early to the train station so they had us check out the night before to save time and helped us reserve a taxi to the train station. Welcomed by a sweet couple who were very attentive to any possible needs. The home and room are lovely, super clean, well kept and quiet. Our host, Clement, was a storehouse of information regarding the area, and fun to chat with as he is a wine maker and quite knowledgeable about the history of locally produced wines.
