Amazing in every way. The beauty of waking around is unlike any other. When we got there after a long day of traveling we had just missed the lunchtime to eat, and when went to shower the handle broke off- this is not a complaint. The grounds are beautiful, and our room was so nice. The bathroom is huge, which was a great bonus. We had lunch by the pool and dinner at the restaurant, and both meals were excellent. The food is great, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
It's the perfect spot if you want to relax without ever having to leave the resort. It's ideal for a weekend getaway and is only about a two-hour drive from Rome. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.
The manager Mavi was very sweet and helpful. She made the check in process very simple, answered any of our questions, and gave us recommendations of places to visit. The property was on a beautiful vineyard with a gorgeous view. I highly recommend!!

Old hotel in an old mountain top town. Given the limitations of this environment the Cisterna is a great little hotel that met all of our needs .The Cisterna is located in Cisterna Square in town close to sights, dining and a valley view walkway. The views to the valley from the rooms is amazing. The rooms are a good size and are modernized and comfortable. The staff is great (friendly and helpful). We cannot recommend this hotel enough. The price was so worth it. The resort has a delicious restaurant, comfortable and luxurious accommodations, a lovely bar, relaxing pool area, and the most amazing Tuscan hills view. We can attest that the romantic sunset they promote is spot on. There is a quaint downtown a 10 minutes walk away as well. It was conveniently located to Florence and many other Tuscan locations. It was amazing to get an authentic Tuscan experience.
What a fantastic experience at Milu! To start, the staff was friendly and made us feel at home right away. Our room was clean and quiet, with the most amazing shower! We enjoyed the breakfast on the patio and found it to be a very satisfying way to start the day. The hotel maintained a relaxed feel while still being vibrant - colorful, modern art and design to enjoy while relaxing with a cup of tea from the open library. We would definitely stay again, thanks Milu for a great experience!
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt welcomed and relaxed. Location is perfect, excellent breakfast and a staff that is simply wonderful in all aspects. Restaurants recommended by the concierge were excellent even though they did not appear on the internet’s restaurant’s list.
