Learn more about Island Park
Fly fishing the Henry's Fork might spoil you for all other rivers, with trout rising in waters so clear you can count their spots. In winter, snowmobilers carve fresh tracks through forests where moose watch with bemused tolerance. The quirky 33-mile-long 'Main Street' claims world record status, though it's really just Highway 20 connecting lodges originally incorporated to serve cocktails legally. Big Springs bubbles up crystal-clear water where massive trout swim lazily, untroubled by fishing lines. Harriman State Park offers trails through meadows where trumpeter swans nest. Mesa Falls thunders year-round, with rainbows dancing in the mist. After adventures, soak in Sawtelle Mountain Resort's hot springs while planning tomorrow's expedition to Yellowstone, just minutes away.

Anglers Lodge
"Staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean and very homey. I loved the framed photos on the walls. We also had a great view from our room"
Wander Camp Yellowstone Island Park
"Amazing especially for star gazing"
Island Park Lodge
"Restaurant had good food but couldn’t have beer with supper"
Sawtelle Mountain Resort
"We all like this property. Good for family with large dinner room even we did not use kitchen much. Spa is good size for family with light under the water. It is specially after a long drive. Breakfast for free and food is good for different choice. The mattress in downstairs room is too soft. Middle is sinking down very uncomfortable for the back. I suggest need new mattress to replace. We still love this place."
Blue Buffalo Resort
"These tiny homes are super cute! Showers are amazing! Rooms comfy and clean. They do have laundry on site, didn’t use it but good to know for future! The set up and decor is so pretty. Had an issue where the day of check out the code to the lock didn’t work and I had to knock on the bedroom window to have my husband let me in after walking the dogs. I called the front desk to see if they could reset it and no one answered. The recoding stated all staff was busy and to leave a message. I left a message and no one got back to me. It was inconvenient as we were loading our car for the next destination. They had coffee pods available but no non dairy creamer or sugar. If you wanted tea you had to go to the front desk to grab it. Since our code wasn’t working it wasn’t working in our favor. Small issues in the grand scheme of things. I do highly recommend trying this place and would stay here again. I will just be better prepared for the next time."
Starlight Retreat Yellowstone
"Loved it. Staff super helpful. Our favorite part was the outdoor kitchen with a stovetop, grill, and sink. Made things super convenient."
Yellowstone Peaks Hotel
"Luxurious stay after backpacking in Wyoming. Late season offered me great rates and easy booking. Staff were friendly and communicated well. I loved sitting in the wood fired hot tub under the stars."

"Great 3 bed, 2 bath cabin with full kitchen and living room. Very clean and in a quiet location. Could use a table by the bed, but was a great place to stay."
Drift Lodge & Fly Shop
"We stayed here for 2 nights. 2 adults, 2 kids (age 4&7), we were in a 2 queen bed cabin. It was very clean! We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. We had a fridge/freezer, kitchen with stove, coffee pot and microwave. Nice bathroom."
