We stayed here for a weekend trip to the 2 parks and it was great. the staff was super friendly, the room was clean and cozy, and overall it felt very safe. i am a paranoid person and so is my friend, but as two women staying alone in a hotel that’s kind of in the middle of nowhere, i seriously felt so safe. even the town that was up the street had the most amazing, friendly, and helpful people. i would highly recommend staying at the three rivers comfort inn and we will definitely be back.
We stayed at this motel for one night, I can’t fault this room. It was clean, comfortable and in a quiet area. There is no fridge or coffee making facilities which would have been ideal.
Our stay was nice and peaceful and we enjoyed being able to sit outside before checking out. Would recommend.
Lisa and Greg were wonderful hosts. Lisa's homemade breakfast and baked goods are wonderful. Fresh local fruit was a great addition to breakfast. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Sequoia!
The room was adequate but the restaurant made it all worthwhile. Perched above the Keweah River, the restaurant views were fantastic. An outdoor patio allowed a chance to sip your wine or whiskey and watch the roaring river go by. Swallows swooped over the river, hunting insects and chasing the ravens. Food was wonderful. Staff so friendly and helpful.
This is a perfect log cabin type of property up in the heart of Sequoia. One can drive to the nearby hiking trails and go hiking all day. A great breakfast included in the morning, a big batch of scrambled eggs, tons of bacon, fried potatoes, fruit bar, cereal, yogurt, cream cheese, breads, etc. You can walk down to Stony Creek after breakfast and go swimming, a wonderful brisk temp and then lay on a rock in the sun as it shines through the trees. hike all day and come back and get in the creek...
We selected the Best Western in Exeter while visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon. It’s located in a small, quite farming town. We found Restaurants were limited in town but had Lunch on day one and Dinner on day two in Three Rivers at River View (great hamburgers and chicken sandwiches). The hotel did sever a small continental breakfast you can take back to your room. Travel time to the Sequoia visitor center was appx. 1 hr and to Kings Canyon was about 1 1/2 hours.
Rooms are large and clean. Each building only has a few rooms, making it quiet. I recommend staying here rather than large chain hotels nearby. It's a great place to stay.
This was honestly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed and we are already can’t wait to go back. Of course the location is beautiful and the amenities were great and staying in the retro looking airstreams was really cool. Everything is well maintained and clean despite the struggle of being in nature. It was nice being able to have the experience of “camping” with our son and our dog without so much of the extra work that goes into it so he could play outdoors and we could relax enough to...
This hotel is on the way to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park from Los Angeles. One of the last large, budget hotels due south of the Park, before you start getting into the smaller, resort-priced places right next to the Park.
The Motel 6 in nearby Porterville LOOKS cheaper--but BEWARE! The Motel 6 hides a $50 "administrative fee" in addition to the price advertised on Hotels.com. So I'd rather stay at a place that just tells me how much its rooms costs, like Super 8 did, than a place...
