We loved our stay for one night. The service was wonderful and we slept well. These are old Malay huts so don’t expect anything different. Wonderful unique experience for a couple or single. No TV, traffic or noice. Very calming. Pool and breakfast were terrific. Beach was fantastic.

Alunan, built amongst hundred years old forests, and a panoramic view towards the crystal clear turquoise south china sea. Alunan is like the best-kept secret on the east coast of Malaysia. Kudos to the coral conservation efforts, with house reef to die for, so close to the coastline, right next to your doorstep. Was renovated last year. Enjoyed our room and the ocean, including the wonderful pool when the weather was hot. Easy access to eateries by the beach and other hotels. Also enjoyed the live band performing in three different resorts/establishments.
