We were somewhat skeptical to see the average rating of 10.0 since I haven't seen such high rating in the past.
The house is a castle like mansion fully renovated 2 years earlier. The owner, Valeria and her architect brother must have spent quite a bit of money to do this project. The result is perfection. Along with the perfectly renovated house Valeria is quite charming host. She is very friendly and accommodating.

The location was excellent, close to the lift you can take up from the port if you’re coming by boat. Close to lots of restaurants and a great view of the sea and port. We were upgraded to a king room with the largest shower I have ever seen in Italy. The front desk staff was super friendly. Daily happy hour and breakfast were wonderful perks. Very nice hotel. Great location, very clean, and the staff were helpful. The But…The only downside was the discotheque club located beneath the hotel. Opened at 11pm until 3am. The music bass was very noticeable. Have to imagine all low floor hotel rooms hear and feel this. The three of our phones sound apps were on high volume to try to washout music.

Very nice apartment with a fantastic view. Safe and walkable area with plenty of shopping and restaurants. Train/Bus station is a few minutes walk is all. Taxi stand right up the street in the town center. King bed was comfortable. One night of my 3 i had a very noisy neighbor and i could hear everything at all hours. The 2 nights later were very quiet. Kitchenette, hair dryer, and kettle provided as well as towels. Hostess was very nice and communicative. Use WhatsApp, very easy communications....
