On a cobbled street in the sleepy town of Garachico, Hotel San Roque offers a truly unique experience for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of resorts, and stay in boutique comfort. The resort is simply amazing - the food, the staff, the service, the landscape - all work together to make the place special. The whole atmosphere was so tranquil and relaxing. This was a special stay. The Prestige rooms are also wonderful.

The views from this hotel were amazing. Staff and other visitors were all very friendly. Nightly entertainment was fantastic and I LOVED watching the mid morning workouts in the pool. The instructor seemed very enthusiastic. Our room was good, except we had two twins pushed together instead of a single bed. We also had large cockroaches in our room and on the patio. We stayed 3 nights and found at least 2 each night, 1 was on the bed. It made the room feel "dirtier" even though everything was...

We had an ocean view room with a balcony. The view was spectacular and the balcony had enough privacy and room for both of us to sit and enjoy the air. The beds, while split, were extremely comfortable. The breakfast and dinner service is worth the money! The spread is absolutely fantastic and the chefs there to provide fresh food are spectacular. It was nicely refurbished with new beds and nice wide mattresses. Everyone very nice and friendly.

We loved our third stay at the Iberostar Selection Sábila. The resort is excellent, breakfast is unbelievabley amazing with a wide variety of fresh options. The pool is great and we especially enjoyed the animation team, Maggie & Sara, who led us every day in a fun water zumba activity. They were a lot of fun and made our stay even more enjoyable. We also did a great workshop with them and learned how to make our own Canarian mojo sauce. We are already planning our next trip back!

Nice location in the south close to several nice restaurants and supermarket. We walked to San Blas square for lunch or dinner almost everyday during our stay.
