This is my third time staying here and I’ve never been disappointed. I’ve stayed here twice during the summer and once during the fall. The rooms are super cozy. The room is always so clean and smells great. It’s close enough to downtown and Arcadia National Park. When in the room you can’t hear the traffic. Hanscom’s is definitely a diamond in the rough. I also have to say Isis who works at the property is always super nice and fast with responding if you email her.

The property is beautiful... Love it was up on a bluff overlooking the property and water... A Deer was seen grazing in the yard in the evening too.. Loved the Breakfast too.. it was delicious and convenient to get nourishment first thing in the morning without the crowd of downtown restaurants and got us out and about to explore Bar Harbor and spending the day in Arcadia National Park. Would highly recommend and would return on another visit to that area...

We stayed 2 nights at the Highbrook, Sept. 14th & 15th. The room was large and spotless, and had been recently renovated. The location was perfect for visiting Acadia and the Town of Bar Harbor. The free shuttle buses stop at the hotel. The breakfast was very good, it included Breakfast Sandwiches, Oatmeal, Bagels, Muffins, Eggs, Yogurt, Bananas, Orange Juice, Coffee, Hot Chocolate and Condiments of all types. We would definitely stay here again.
