Learn more about Tirana
Beneath Mount Dajti's shadow, this revitalized capital buzzes with unexpected energy. Skanderbeg Square forms the vibrant heart where locals gather amid colorful, competing buildings. Duck into Bunk'Art 2, a communist-era nuclear bunker turned thought-provoking museum. The National History Museum, with its striking socialist mosaic façade, houses treasures spanning Illyrian times to post-communist rebirth. Outdoor cafés overflow with patrons sipping espresso and raki while debating football matches. The block area reveals trendy bars where young Albanians create a surprising nightlife scene. For the best views, ride the Dajti cable car for a forest escape minutes from the urban bustle.

Si Hotel
"I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Si! The staff was extremely courteous and helpful, the property was clean and easily accessible and the breakfast buffet delicious. It’s in a great location (10min walk from the central square and Blloku), and my balcony view was extraordinary. I strongly recommend and would go back tomorrow. Thank you Hotel Si staff!!!"

Mondial Hotel
"The value for money to be found in Eastern European hotels is clear to be seen here. We had a Business Suite for around £110 a night with breakfast. Amazing value. A large seating area with settee and fridge. A massive king size bed with wall mounted TV and two chairs in the bedroom area. A bath and separate shower in the spacious bathroom. Along with two balconies the room couldn't be faulted. We stayed 4 nights and the breakfast didnt get boring in that time, with a mix of continental, cooked as well as healthy options it set us up for the day. All staff members were polite and welcoming and couldn't be faulted. We were able to drop off our bags before check in and after check out which is always appreciated. The negatives and these are very very minimal, the air con didnt quite have the power to combat the 38 degree temperatures. The other issue which wasn't for us but could be with small children is if you are at the front of the hotel there is some road noise which might be disruptive. All in all an absolute treat to stay at the Mondial and highly recommended."
Mercure Tirana
"Mercure Hotel is a clean, well-maintained property. It's located near a major intersection on the western outskirts of Tirana. There are two things I liked about the hotel. First, it is clean and new for the price range. Not fancy, but I did not experience any inconvenience during my stay. Second, the breakfast buffet was really good, much better than most four-star hotels in Western Europe. In addition to eggs and sausages, they had vegetable dishes, mushrooms, various kinds of cheese (not just European cheese but also more Middle Eastern cheese), five or six different kind of jams, different kinds of yogurt, fresh fruit, bread, and more. There is also an absolutely pleasant female worker there. She greets every guest and asks how we are doing in a super cheerful manner but not in an annoying way. She was a delight to see every morning. The hotel should give her a big raise! The most serious drawback I had was the location of the hotel. Because it's outside the main area of the city, there are so few restaurants to go out for dinner. I ended up eating dinner at the hotel, which was very disappointing unlike the excellent breakfast. I think they microwave everything in the kitchen, which is really problematic for dinner that pretends to be a bit fancy. So if you stay here, make sure to eat in town before coming back to the hotel."
