I loved that they have a mini "Big Ben" ~ it made me think "the QUEEN's LAND" (as in I was in Brisbane which is in the Aussie state called Queensland 😀. Lovely weather, 25 Celsius even though it's half way through Autumn (April). Smooth traffic.

Brisbane is amazing. A plethora of dining options, a fantastic bus and ferry system (currently A$0.50 per ride!), the zoo and glow worm caves each an hour away by car, an international airport close by, and a great massage and bath house (Soak)!

Good transport system - buses, trains and cats. Several good parks to walk around. 2 art galleries and a museum. The South Bank leisure area. Only issue for us was the crowds due to school holidays in December and January.

Brisbane is a gem city! A must destination in Australia, city skyline in fabulous, so many travel options especially on the river. restaurants are first class and there is much to do. Thoroughly impressed!!

Brisbane is a lovely city which has easy to use river and bus transportation to get around. There is a great free tour provided by Brisbane Greeters which I recommend all new visitors book in advance.

Brisbane is a dead easy city to get around. The CBD and southbank are easily walkable. The rail network from the airport is great. Like most big cities, traffic is a nightmare - so avoid driving!

Enjoyed exploring from this location. Parts of Brisbane were like a time capsule. Loved the new additions to the river areas and how the city was lit helping get some lovely evening shots.

Brisbane is a great city for tourists with cheap transport and free outdoor entertainment options in South Bank. It was easy to get to Australia Zoo and the airport.

My room rather small had all the comforts found in hotel rooms. Small fridge was OK except full of minibar items which I never use in any hotel.Little tubs of milk are of a bygone era. There are better options. Very clean room, bed and pillows very comfortable. Enjoyed nice hot showers."
