"The hotel is very clean. The staff was very nice. I always stay around time square and this hotel location is great. The only issue is that they don't provide a microwave. At least one should be available upon request. That's why I did not give a 5 star."

"We had the best weekend at the Shelburne Sonesta. We were celebrating a big birthday and the staff treated us so well and made it a very special occasion. We will definitely stay here again!!"

"Staff unhelpful, long lines for check in, no soap in my room when I arrived, the elevator had issues one night and I wasn’t let up to my room for about 30 minutes. The place was dirty and just unkept. The location is good, but that’s about it. They also keep $150 in resort/destination fess. Cannot recommend "

"My second stay at the hotel was signigicantly better than the first. My room was remodeled, spacious with new AC, shower, bathroom fixtures. It’s a great location…Time Square and Broadway adjacent but not in it, close to Bryant Park. I will stay again."

"Pros: Amazing location. Door and security staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Shower was hot and powerful. Cons: Reception staff were terrible - we had the unfortunate luck of having to deal with Alex several times and he was disinterested and frankly quite rude. For the price of the hotel, additionally charging $4 an item to store bags after check out is really taking advantage of travellers with no other option. Rooms are ok, tired. No tea/coffee making facilities, not even a water glass in the rooms, we had one plastic cup to share between 3. Overall would expect more from the Hyatt brand."
