What a beautiful old world hotel. No detail was left out. Lovely greeting in the reception area and they came to you, not you going to the desk. Manager greeted each and every guest. Rooms are well appointed, spacious and very comfortable. Within walking distance to the Falls. On the way home, on the path, I counter giraffes, monkeys, baboons and zebra ! Highly recommend

Very tasteful arrangement , owner happened to be there, shared what a delight the place is.

Had a great time, the view is amazing and sunset should never be missed. My wife used the spa and it was first class.

A practical laid back place that doesn't compromise on cleanliness. They have a formula that seems to work. Most tourists appeared very young but respectful towards oldies. No loud-mouthed bogans or annoying smokers either. More your cool yoga types!

We stayed at the Zambizi Sun in August of 2010 for three nights. We chose it after extensive research and advice from a tourist agent in South Africa. It was a fantastic stay. Very underrated place, amazing staff, great place to stay

It's beautiful, right in the middle of nature. You can hear hippos at night and get out on the brautiful porch by the river, and yet you are so close to everything. i was in the luxury safari tent which had a safari-like open air private shower, comfortable bed and lots of space, and was very clean. We booked the comfort chalet room but was given a double standard room instead. They have double booked by accident. I still kept the 5-star rating because 1.) The price for both were the same anyway 2.) Even established hotels make the same mistakes with double-booking. 3.) The staff, especially Priscilla and Imelda took exceptionally good care of us!
