Learn more about Cisco
Frontier spirit lives on in this small Texas town where the Lela Latch Lloyd Museum displays cowboy artifacts that tell tales of bygone days. Red Gap Brewing Company pours local craft beers in a beautifully restored 1920s building that's worth visiting even if you don't drink. Conrad N. Hilton Memorial Park offers a peaceful spot to contemplate how a small-town boy built a hotel empire. History buffs shouldn't miss the Eastland County Jailhouse Museum nearby, where cell doors still creak with stories. Ringling Lake Park provides a welcome respite from the Texas heat. The town's modest size belies its rich heritage - arrive with curiosity and the locals will share stories that won't make any guidebook.

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Eastland
8/10 Good
"The staff were all very friendly. Because we had so many hunters there, leaving early, they started serving breakfast early. That was much appreciated! Overall, the property could use a little upkeep (e.g. wallpaper, paint). But the owner was actively making that happen so I'm sure it will be better soon."
Executive Inn
8/10 Good
"The wall AC unit is very loud. It drowned out any traffic noise. The room was very clean which was a huge plus. Lots of hot water for the shower."
Budget Inn
8/10 Good
"Pool was out of order. They did clean my room daily. It’s just an older property."
Hereford Motel
10/10 Excellent
"Well done, Albany! We were pleasantly surprised! Welcoming ambiance was a 10/10. Spotless, chill & perfectly cooled in this brutal heat. Wonderful amenities! The luxury bedding, duel shower heads, and live tv were appreciated after a long drive. We were able to catch up on the football game and slept great (rooms are well insulated/solid/quiet). We especially appreciated the Fiji waters and Black Riffle coffees ..enjoyed that first cup on the private patio while watching the wildlife. We cant wait to go back!"
