Everything about our stay was excellent! The Cartier Mansion is beautiful and impeccably maintained. The owners were very friendly and so much fun to chat with at breakfast.
The only think we would have changed is we wish we had reserved the front room which is attached to the upstairs balcony. But the room we were in was great and we loved our stay.

Good location walkable to shopping and restaurants. Our double room was large with 2 wash areas and closets. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were not they were hard and dense. The room was clean and very spacious. Coffee and muffins with some fruit was adequate, was served in the lobby. This is our second time staying this year here, I would book it again.
My family only stayed here one night after leaving Michigan Adventure's en route to Sleeping Bear Dunes. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm face. I was asked a few times if i enjoyed my room (not annoyingly). The rooms were very nice and clean. The sheets and bed were comfortable. The bathrooms were a little dated but the toiletries were nice. This is a basic motel. Clean, neat everything I needed for a good nights sleep. Staff was wonderful. Very friendly, helpful and kind. Will stay there again if I come thru Luddington again.
