"The free breakfast is absolutely amazing! Everything you could imagine and plenty of it! The rooftop bar has amazing views and cocktails. They offer enough food selections to satisfy the most discerning clientele. I found the staff very helpful. My only regret was that I paid an extra $50 to get in my room a couple of hours early. I was weary from traveling. I wished I had saved my money and waited. It would have been nice if they had let me go up to my available room as a perk."

"I have gone by this hotel for over thirty years and always wanted to stay here. Our room had a magnificent view of the lake and everything from the Ferris wheel at Navy Pier to the Field Museum. The room did not have good climate control. We did have to have the windows open. Thankfully, the weather was mild outside, which made things ultimately very comfortable."

"We were initially booked at the main location on the River Walk, but we were then instructed that we would need to move to another nearby location upon arrival. The receptionist told us that the company intentionally overbooks its main location and reserves some capacity at other locations to entice customers. BE VERY WARY OF THE BAIT AND SWITCH. If you stay at this hotel (I highly advise against it), I recommend calling ahead to verify that you are actually booked at the correct location."
