Bluff is a very small community with artistic accents and steeped in Native American culture. Great breakfast at Twin Rocks Cafe and barbeque at Canyon Smokehouse. It was a nice place to rest on the way to / after Canyon de Chelly or Moab.

Quiet town with an interesting story. American history buffs should enjoy the fort and gift shop. I was charmed by the friendly helpful people of the gift shop and fort.

Bluff is not a big city, but has everything the desert loving hiker/camper/explorer needs, including incredible dark skies.

The thing that makes it special - quiet, slow, small town - is also why i gave 4/5 stars - places close EARLY!

Bluff is a bit "middle if nowhere." Actually found working pay phones (50 cents). Plenty of services ... gas & food... in the area.

"We really enjoyed our week here. It is a great location, the diner was super convenient, and the room was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend it. "
"This was a great place to relax and unwind from exploring Monument Valley. It was just a 20 minute drive. History in area of western films. Updated and improved property. The Views Are Amazing. Just down the road you can get access to the river to have a relaxing float. You have to eat at the Swingin’ Steakhouse. The steaks and burgers cooked to perfection. "
"Beautiful rooms and eating areas including outside patios with views of nearby spectacular rock formations. Also great breakfast and service. Fun eating with the hummingbirds!"
"This is a small seven-room motor hotel that despite its age, is in pretty darn good shape. If you’re looking for an affordable, clean, and comfortable motel to lay your head down, the Mokee Motel is for you. The bathroom and shower area has been recently updated, and the room features comfortable beds, DirecTV, large flat screen TV, microwave, and a small refrigerator. I’d stay here again. "
