The staff was kind, warm and friendly. The room was spacious and well laid out. and the amenities were extra nice, especially the great hair conditioner that left my hair feeling super soft, but not weighed down. Would love to know the brand of conditioner used at the Inn. The pour-over coffee, the teas, the glass water bottle, glasses, plates and eating utensils were so thoughtful. A magnificent surprise !! Amazing architecture, quiet, a library, amazing home-cooked breakfast, and a most interesting host. This place will be on my “always stay” list. I think of this place and the host almost every day since I left.
The Historic Redstone Inn was beautiful. Like a country estate in the mountains. Outstanding customer service that accommodated a late check-in. Beautiful facility that offered a great continental breakfast too.
Bruce and Andrea are lovely hosts and we enjoyed staying at their property. Very quiet and beautiful area of Colorado. Propaganda Pizza next door was excellent and the Redstone Inn was also a nice place to chill. Redstone has limited wifi and virtually no cell service in the area which was nice as you can really unplug. The property did have WiFi if you need to make a call.
We were traveling with our two kids and a dog and the Alpine Motel ended up being a great place to rest our heads at night. The motel was clean, easy to check in, and convenient for access to the Grand Mesa. The room has a pretty good sized refrigerator and microwave. The snack room is an added bonus and was great for getting coffee in the morning. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
