Learn more about Tiburon
Waterfront magic unfolds along the promenade where sailboats glide past Angel Island against a backdrop of San Francisco Bay. The historic Main Street preserves its Gold Rush train town character, with boutiques and seafood restaurants that make lingering mandatory. 'Ark Row' shops occupy converted boathouses from when the lagoon between Tiburon and Belvedere was filled in. Catch the ferry to San Francisco or Angel Island for day trips that showcase the bay from different angles. Paradise Beach Park offers quieter moments away from the bustle. For the full experience, time a visit to coincide with sunset when the peninsula's position creates a light show across the water that explains why locals consider their commuter town a hidden treasure.

Hotel Julian
"AWESOME hotel - great staff, quiet place!"
The Pickwick Hotel
"Room was cute and tiny, complimentary breakfast was subpar, but complain too much for it being “free”. Carpets being punched up in the hallway causing tripping hazards is my only complaint! Be aware, parking is to be paid for🙄"
Chancellor Hotel on Union Square
"Affordable room. Impressed by the staff’s friendly manner. Would recommend!"
Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf
"Great location, within walking distance to restaurants etc. Nice bar on the property."
Fairmont San Francisco
"Great staff, beautiful hotel"
Hilton San Francisco Union Square
"Fantastic hotel and great value for a stay. Loved the rooftop bar overlooking the city. Our shower unfortunately wasn't stocked with body wash when we arrived, but otherwise great experience. The only negative is you feel pretty uncomfortable walking around the hotel after sunset due to proximity to the Tenderloin, but safe environment inside and great staff."
Handlery Union Square Hotel
"Our stay was very nice and the room was clean. I liked the older place with the updates and how quiet it was from any road noise. Loved that there was a man ice maker and a water station for refilling water bottles The staff was very nice and always greeted us when we were coming and going. The location of the hotel was great for getting around and seeing the sights. A few things that could help improve the stay would be some overall updates for the room. The tv was a bit older and the remote was wearing out it seemed. We weren’t in the room too much so it didn’t really impact us. The lighting in the bathroom and the AC controls could have been updated to go more with the more modern updates overall."
Marriott Vacation Club®, San Francisco
"It was in a very convenient location. I got my room before the checking time. I left my luggage at the desk and one hour latter, I was notified my room was ready. The location is excellent. You can walk to different places."
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Berkeley Marina
"The room I stayed in building 4 was clean had an old smell and the balcony was dirty with bird droppings. The latch to the door was broken but still locked just needs an upgrade. There was a popping sound coming from the walls so I could not get a good sleep. Also don’t stay on the side where the parking is because you get all the traffic noise from the parking area. Overall the place is well maintained and semi friendly staff but the level of attentiveness was not the same as I saw with other customers staying there- but still cordial and respectful. I enjoyed the tranquility this place brings and the walks on the port. The park near by was a great spot to walk the fury pets and environment was all that I expected. The pool was clean and the jacuzzi was much enjoyed and needed after long walks. The boat house Resturant was not my vibe but good food. The breakfast is overpriced but did appreciate the port view. Definitely worth staying here and will visit once again to see if I get the same impression till next time. Worth the money."
