Learn more about Tiburon
Waterfront magic unfolds along the promenade where sailboats glide past Angel Island against a backdrop of San Francisco Bay. The historic Main Street preserves its Gold Rush train town character, with boutiques and seafood restaurants that make lingering mandatory. 'Ark Row' shops occupy converted boathouses from when the lagoon between Tiburon and Belvedere was filled in. Catch the ferry to San Francisco or Angel Island for day trips that showcase the bay from different angles. Paradise Beach Park offers quieter moments away from the bustle. For the full experience, time a visit to coincide with sunset when the peninsula's position creates a light show across the water that explains why locals consider their commuter town a hidden treasure.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Berkeley Marina
"We enjoyed our stay and liked the fact that there was a restaurant, pool, fitness room on site. Breakfast was good but my eggs were barely warm when served."
Hotel Nikko San Francisco
"Fabulous Hotel. Would definitely return. Just be mindful, it is right at the edge of the Tenderloin area."
The Pickwick Hotel
"This was a great place to be in the heart of the city. The parking was convenient if you don’t need in-and-out access. The location was walkable and in reach of Yerba Buena, Salesforce Park, Union Square, MoMA. We were in the city for the symphony, and we walked there. At night there was a lot of street noise, but besides that, the room was lovely."
Hotel Zoe Fisherman's Wharf
"Very, very nice hotel!. What we noticed is how pleasant and how everyone worked hard. We didn’t see any unhappy people anywhere. With that, they had a lot of pride in their jobs and where they worked. The Bell hop worked especially hard and he was the only one on duty. It was a crazy crossover time with people checking out and people arriving early, like us. He seemed to manage it all without looking frustrated. Property was a perfect location to Fisherman’s Wharf and the waterfront. I would highly recommend staying at this location."
Hilton San Francisco Union Square
"Everyone was great commendations were great"
FOUND Hotel Carlton, Nob Hill
"This was a great place to stay for my husband’s surgery at UCSF Hyde. Only a 2 block walk. Expect a mixture of old ( but clean) building with some modern fixtures. Coffee and microwave in lobby , not in room. Mini fridge in room. Some attention to detail would be nice ( extra mirror would be helpful , shower curtain ripped , stairs needed vacuum) . Spacious room, Nice bedding, felt safe, lots of food nearby, especially Asian Cuisine. Overall an excellent value and would stay again."
