Learn more about Tiburon
Waterfront magic unfolds along the promenade where sailboats glide past Angel Island against a backdrop of San Francisco Bay. The historic Main Street preserves its Gold Rush train town character, with boutiques and seafood restaurants that make lingering mandatory. 'Ark Row' shops occupy converted boathouses from when the lagoon between Tiburon and Belvedere was filled in. Catch the ferry to San Francisco or Angel Island for day trips that showcase the bay from different angles. Paradise Beach Park offers quieter moments away from the bustle. For the full experience, time a visit to coincide with sunset when the peninsula's position creates a light show across the water that explains why locals consider their commuter town a hidden treasure.

Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf
"Our room was cozy and clean. The breakfast here is outstanding!"
Marriott Vacation Club®, San Francisco
"So, the room was great which is the most inportant thing. It did provide free ear plugs due to the noise. We don’t need them and slept fine. Food is not available in the hotel. So, you have to eat out which is ok. The thing that let it down for me was when booking in it all seemed to be about selling us things (or trying to!). The concierge just tried to sell rather than help."
Club Quarters Hotel Embarcadero, San Francisco
"Great staff..loved breakfast"
Handlery Union Square Hotel
"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. The service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant. Everything was well organised, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great service. I would happily stay here again!"
InterContinental Mark Hopkins by IHG
"Nice beds!"
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Berkeley Marina
"The staff are helpful and friendly. The bathroom and room in general is clean. The upkeep needs improvement, specifically the bathroom doesn’t have a working exhaust fan."
Hotel Julian
"Great stay! The staff was helpful & accommodating. The property & rooms were well maintained & clean."
FOUND Hotel Carlton, Nob Hill
"It was nicer than I expected. I spent my time in the city walking around. Some parts were a bit shady, but nothing bad happens if you just keep walking. The staff at the hotel were the best! I forgot her name but there was one lady that made our time there really great. Overall everyone was very nice. The room was great. The only thing was the elevator getting packed at times since they were quite small. I’d still rate it a 9.5/10"
Hilton San Francisco Financial District
"Room was very spacious. Close to china town so lots of good places to eat. Definitely will come back here next time."
