The only negative was the glass wall in the shower that was also the wall next to the bedroom. When someone e turns on the bathroom lighting the ksw of the night, the bedroom is lit up brightly!
Though I had to pay an additional $40 because they canceled my reservation I felt it was worth the money. It was very clean and near many restaurants. The manager was very rude and disrespectful however the rest of the staff was awesome. We usually stay at another local hotel but this was much better. This will be our go to hotel from now on when in town visiting family and friends.
What an amazing and stately hotel! We truly enjoyed our 3 day stay here. The rooms are smaller but well appointed and they made great use of the space. If you know the history of the hotel you can see why the rooms are smaller. The bar and lounge area is quite nice and Cora’s restaurant has a very reasonably priced cooked to order breakfast. My sister and I went out and on return to the room that night there was a problem. Michael the desk person for over night solved our problem quickly. We were put in a new room promptly problem solved and a very satisfied customer.
They are totally tearing up the parking lot which made parking a challenge. Half of the parking lot was blocked off and huge deep squares of pavement were cut out. A little dangerous if you ask me. Breakfast was good with a few options but we passed on it. The hotel room was the saving grace, Ac was spot on and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a fair amount of room and the water was hot so no complaints there. The parking was the only issue for me other than that it was great.
