Between the Connecticut River and Long Island Sound, this coastal town offers more than meets the eye. Ocean Beach Park delivers classic seaside fun with its boardwalk, splash pad, and mini-golf for families seeking sun-soaked memories. Theater buffs shouldn't miss the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, where tomorrow's Broadway hits often get their start. Harkness Memorial State Park combines mansion grandeur with picturesque gardens that frame perfect Atlantic views. Take a dip at the aptly named Hole-in-the-Wall Beach, a local favorite for its quieter shores. The Waterford Speedbowl offers high-octane entertainment for racing enthusiasts, while nearby Mystic Seaport provides a fascinating glimpse into maritime history without the typical tourist crush.

"Staff was top notch, and facility had plenty of self parking. Room was great!"
Bellissimo Hotel, Trademark by Wyndham Near Foxwoods Casino
"Clean room, helpful staff, shuttle to Foxwoods, complementary coffee! Breakfast was popular and a long wait, so go early, but that’s not a deal breaker. And it’s about 20 to Mystic. We would stay again!"
Hyatt Place Uncasville - Casino Area
"The room was nice. The people were helpful. The breakfast was OK."
Sound View Greenport
"The property is wonderful. Downside was 30$ parking for guests at the hotel each night and lots of gnats in our room, was told this is the season and unfortunately nothing could be done."
Winnapaug Inn
"Nice clean comfortable room close to Misquamicut beach and Watch Hill area. Friendly helpful staff. Private town beach pass was unexpected and awesome!! Exercise room and continental breakfast slightly underwhelming."

Marina Bay Cottages
"I booked cottage 7 and it was perfect for my husband and I. It was just like the pictures shown online. I slept great as the bed was super comfy for both of us. The shower is roomy and the hot water was plentiful. The cottage had everything we needed and we were comfortable. There was nothing (in our cottage at least) that felt cheap or just thrown together. I would rent 7 again because we could see the water from the front and the adorable and well kept flower/veggie garden in the back. My favorite thing to do was to sit in the front under the tree and enjoy what seemed to be this constant ocean breeze that almost had me falling asleep in the chair. The location is great because food and other businesses were not that far away. I guess if I could make one suggestion it would be this, Due to there not being any screens on the door or kitchen window we couldn't take advantage of that breeze, so maybe a screen on at least on of them would be great. All in all, it was a perfect place to rest our heads for the nights we were there. Oh yeah, it was super clean too!!"
